Exercises To Get Rid Of Man Boobs

Most men with gynecomastia may find it frustrating to have those puffy breasts that look just like women’s breasts. Worried about being laughed at, they will surely find ways to get rid of them. Man boobs or gynecomastia is basically caused by hormonal imbalance, excessive fats or tissues, or some medications. Though surgeries can give immediate results, doing exercise is still the best solution as it just doesn’t eliminate the problem but it also helps the person to become healthier and stay in shape.

Although they may sound tough and may take some time for results to show, several exercises are highly recommended to flatten enlarged breasts. The best exercises are those that both stimulate the fat-burning mechanism of the body and cause the release of hormones and chemicals that can help alter the body’s shape and tone, especially on the chest area. Doing aerobic exercises is a great way to burn fat. By raising the heart rate with the correct range, excess fats in the body start to burn. Just 30 minutes of these activities daily can actually burn about 300 calories.

A faster way to burn great amounts of fats can be accomplished by interval training. It is a set of exercises that is designed to increase metabolism, thereby burning fat faster. It usually involves about a minute of vigorous activities, followed by two to three minutes of moderate exercise, and then back to the one-minute vigorous activity again. The process is repeated cyclically. A good example to remove man boobs is to run as fast as you can for one minute followed by brisk walking for three minutes.

Best Exercise For Man Boobs

Specific exercises to reduce man boobs include push-ups, bench press, dumbbell press and other cardiovascular exercises. Cardio workouts such as running, biking and rowing can help burn fat from the body that includes those excess fats in the chest which cause gynecomastia. Playing sports also offers the same advantage.

Chest & Back Workouts:
How To Get Rid Of Man Boobs

Push-ups seem to be the easiest and most convenient form of exercise, as they can be done anywhere and anytime. There are no required sets to complete; one can do as many of them as he can. This activity does not actually remove man boobs; rather they make them more unnoticeable as the upper chest area is built up, while the fats that cause man boobs are on the lower chest.

Inclined bench press, like push-ups, works out the upper chest area than the lower part, shaping up the chest. Lying on an inclined bench, a weight bar is raised vertically towards the ceiling. This can be done in three to four sets of 15 to 20 repetitions each. Another version of this type is the dumbbell press where dumbbells are used instead of a weight bar.

Another excellent exercise that targets the chest area is the cable crossover. With a pulley station, the arms are stretched out at shoulder level on both sides of the pulley. Using the pectoral muscles, the arms are moved in front and are then crossed over. Eight to twelve repetitions will do.

Try to do some of these exercises and you’ll be glad to see visible results over time.
